When the terroir is worked to give the best grapes, when experienced hands treat the fruit with maximum delicacy. Only then borns a great cava of a small winery.

With a very clear philosophy: to create a refined and high-quality cava always with limited production product, Castell Sant Antoni cavas get those top notch. The secret is to use only wines from musts “flor” varieties of native grapes Penedes; Xarel·lo, Macabeo, Parellada and Garnatxa, sometimes supplemented by foreign Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The firm has its own vineyard, most of them in the family estate called “The Sot”, located in “Els Costers de l’Ordal”, 4 km away from Sant Sadurní. The property enjoys a privileged location because of it’s position on the plain of the Penedes, ideally for the development of the vine. It also offers fantastic views of the whole vineyards area over the sea.


Located in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, 40 km south of Barcelona, ​​in Catalonia (Spain), the company has facilities perfectly adapted for raising their cellars. It is here in this cool and quiet environment, where the evolution of the brand cavas occurs after a long aging process. In the processing room are conducted preparatory processes for bottling wine and then uncorking process is done manually bottle to bottle. Finally, the bottles are passed individually by labeling phase, under the watchful eye of an expert, and are then hand-fitted checked to conclude the process.
